Off the top of my head:
The layout, how changing layout affects / doesnt affect other finder instances, how window resizing works, trying to show hidden files, trying to show specific folders (~/Library), having to modify settings to show the file path, trying to copy a file path
- RickHull 4y agoThey should call it The Hider
- bengale 4y agoThe answer to some of those is just the alt key though in fairness. Hidden files is just a keyboard shortcut.
- JamesSwift 4y agoI honestly didnt even know you could get any of that alt functionality. I just tried it and it also gives you the 'Always open with' option which was another complaint of mine
- bengale 4y agoIt’s handy in a bunch of places. Like the go menu, if you have that open and hit option you get some more power user locations. Also it’s Command, Shift and Period to toggle showing hidden files.
