I tried 43” 4K for a while, but it did not work out for me. Using the sides and corners was inconvenient as it required keeping head turned. I noticed I was mostly just keeping stuff in the middle. Maybe it would have worked better with some more tuning and good window manager. For example keep Slack in corner, bring it center for chatting, put back to corner.
