Google, Facebook, Twitter to tackle deepfakes or risk EU fines
- Andrew_nenakhov 4y agoThis is madness. Bureaucrats want to control what news sources and what stories can be accessed by citizens. Here in Russia we have a censorship agency, RosComNadzor, who's aim is to enact mass surveillance and censorship upon Russian citizens, and blocking any service that doesn't comply with their rules and regulations. I believe it is only a matter of time till EU will create a similar agency. I think they'll quickly establish a very good working relationship with their russian colleagues, studying best practices and exchanging ideas and experience. (EU citizens, kill it with fire, before it is too late!)
