- aeturnum 4y agoThere are lots of projects that describe themselves as a "cryptocurrency" that are lying by some definition! That, imo, goes back to the difficulty in assessing the technical rigor of the projects. I more meant that I do not have the impression that people selling fake bitcoins (or eth or whatever other coins people buy) is a problem. If you want to buy a bitcoin, it is easy to do that in a verifiable way.
