To be honest, 'springing out of bed excited to see what the work day brings you' seems like a weird standard for evaluating burn out, or even for evaluating how normal your job is. My hypothesis is that most people are not exactly springing out of bed to go to work...but they are also not burned out. Edit: I think its totally valid if this is a sign for you or a select number of people. Everyone is going to have a very personal experience with burnout.
