- hirundo 4y agoWhen language is inflated you sometimes have to resort to understatement for emphasis, e.g. “Ladies and Gentlemen, this is your captain speaking. We have a small problem. All four engines have stopped.” -- British Airways Pilot Eric Moody’s message to passengers when the engines failed flying through a volcanic ash cloud I've tried underpayment as a response to currency inflation but it was less effective.
