I think the OP meant that friend support you in overcoming your limitations. They support you where you are weak, not they perpetuate and grow your weaknesses.

- dirtybirdnj 4y agoThis is how I chose to interpret it as well. If you can't handle me at my worst you don't deserve me at my best is a cliche way of saying the opposite.
