- jleyank 4y agoGee, people in field A which has its own philosophy and jargon are complaining about people in field B which has its own philosophy and jargon. Not surprisingly, as the point of the fields are different, these two areas do not overlap. And neither of these can really understand orthopaedic surgeons. Or fighter pilots. Or… Translating discipline specific speech into baseline speech is hard, it requires knowledge, patience, and empathy. Randall Munroe, “science popularizers” and the like to do this, but they’re rare and not always appreciated.
