Bookmarks are, for me, for sites I want to keep track of for future reference. Some, I might access frequently. Others, hardly ever. I arrange them in a three-deep hierarchy. There will never be enough time to thoroughly investigate them all. They are important to me, and I stay on Firefox, instead of Safari, because the FF bookmark tech is better.

> I stay on Firefox, instead of Safari, because the FF bookmark tech is better It's just insanely better, and the best theory I can come up with why Chrom(e|ium) doesn't use tags or a sane bookmark manager is that Google really, really just wants you to search for whatever you previously saw, because delicious ad impressions I tried to cheat and use Pocket as a bookmark manager, since it supports tags and also (sometimes) has a handy screenshot of the page, but I gave up on that pretty quick when I realized that Pocket doesn't change the extension icon when I visit a page I already had saved I'm aware there are like 1500 other open source bookmark managers, don't at me
