I like the idea of doing something like this that isn't as complicated as a full static site generator but just has one pre-formatted configuration. On the other hand, there are a lot of existing SSGs and CMSs that provide the ability to run a site in Git, come with theme options so you don't have to theme yourself, and have a managed hosting platform. In that sense, you're competing with almost everyone listed in https://jamstack.org/generators/ https://jamstack.org/generators/.
