It is for this sort of reason that I prefer dumb analog devices such as headphones to "smart" devices with as lot of complexity built in. Also, they're cheaper.

- xattt 4y agoAmen. I use a wired set to simplify the audio out between my docking station that I share with multiple machines. Bluetooth pairing is a nightmare.
