Lessons learned while growing into Platform Engineering
- lawrjone 4y agoThis week I spoke at PlatformCon about Growing into Platform Engineering, sharing my experience leading such a team as we scaled the engineering org. Given my talk notes were pretty detailed, figured I'd turn them into a blog post that I could share on HN as well. The post includes pragmatic steps you can take before going all-in on internal dev platforms, useful for platform engineers within growing orgs, in the form of three stories grounded in my experience. Hope people find it useful!
