Welcome to the Great Covid Reinfection
- chiefalchemist 4y agoHow is reinfection being defined? By this I mean, if they say someone is reinfected, how do they know they were infected in the first place? Is it simply by that person saying they tested positive previously? Or does the PCR test test for all variants? How do they know which was previous? With a fair - but unknown? - number of cases being asymptomatic, how are they able to work around that? Finally, how much of this analysis is dependent upon extensive testing? And if we're not longer testing as much how accurate is the resulting science?
