I think mpeg encoding would be a better demonstrative than code... Where data is lost, details are lost, but the end result still typically renders into something recognizable. If you lose an iframe, you end up with a more serious deformity. Whereas code either does exactly what it says or does nothing at all, and knocking out a single statement is almost certain to break everything.
