What do you think of my website

- ColinWright 4y agoIt might be great ... but I hate video at the best of times, and I'm trying this out when other people are around and I don't have headphones. You might want to consider having the text on that landing page, with a couple of photos and diagrams to help make the point. You need to have the lighting not reflecting in your glasses. Looking at the subtitles, I can see that English is not your first language. It's good and understandable, but you need someone to help you word-craft your script. It needs to be paced better, and it needs some "light and shade" in the presentation. I know it's short, and that's good, but it needs more "punch" and more "relax". (pause) OK, I've now listened, and you need a setting with less echo ... simply hanging up some blankets in the surrounding area might do enough, but it sounds very "empty office". It would be useful to have something in the background that's not just "blank". The website itself looks slick, but there's not much there, and it's not clear what I'm supposed to do next. This all sounds very negative, but you've got something up, which is better than 99.9% of people, and I've tried to make my comments actionable. Good luck!

- EddieDante 4y agoSite seems to work, but I couldn't be bothered to watch the video. It's nothing personal; I almost never watch video of people talking.

- octokatt 4y agoThe overall theme is good, and renders well on a mobile device and desktop. The design is modern and reasonable. I'll echo the "please don't make me watch a video by default" message, though I would keep a link to the video as well since some folk vastly prefer video. I would also highlight your social media accounts on the Contact page. If you have them, flaunt them. You might even be able to create a widget to fetch recent posts so people can see what you've been up to.

- ColinWright 4y agoSeveral other people are commenting on it, so it's obviously not empty for them, just as it's not empty for me. Perhaps you could help by providing more information to help track down the problem. What browser are you using? What OS? That sort of thing.
- hypertele-Xii 4y agoYou misunderstand. I think it's empty. Devoid of contents. Lacking in essence. Not enough stuff. Missing something. Needs more.
