I’ve had the same conclusion [0] as the title though not as the article. I want to have max RAM but I’m actually totally fine with only 256GB. I’ve been using the 12” MacBook since 2017 with 256GB storage and it’s only half full, mostly because of these 2 reasons. - It is a work machine and I do not store personal files on it - It is most often used when out of office I didn’t even consider the 14” even though the price difference is relatively small because I value portability more than processing power.
