    Possibilities abound: morbid obesity, Trump, global warming, Biden, Yellen, Putin, Erdogan, anyone else whose name ends in "en" sound, EVs, gas cars, flatulence (of SOs), reading HN before taking one's medications, ditto for "DrudgeReport", etc., etc.

      None of the items in your list are the cause. Also, none of the items in your list are things that you're not allowed to talk about or blame for stuff. Hell, it's practically a legal requirement to blame global warming or Trump for all societal ills these days.
