Medium use many deceptive patterns - especially with language: ‘Paywall’ → called ‘Partner Programme’ Double negatives → weird phrases like 'To make your post unmetered, deselect the checkbox' Paywall is Opt-in by default: The option to log in is checked by default, meaning you actively have to say no to earning money when unchecking it.
