When I bought my current house I had copies of the deeds dating back to the early 1800s (thy physical building dates from 1962, but I know there was a post office here before then from old OS maps). This isn't just a transcript, this is the original writing in the original style. OK it's only 200 years, but it's still interesting to see what was being written (formally) by normal people back then.
