Late to the party but: Bose noise canceling headphones and Instrumental music: Mostly techno (jungle/house), jazz sometimes. Random thoughts go on a list (pen and paper--no context switching on my computer). At end of day, make a list of things to do first thing the next morning. Once a week, go through all my notes and condense/backlog; ensure my roadmap lines up with my tasks and re-prioritize as needed. I try to have all my meetings on this day also, which gives me large blocks of time to focus on other days.
