Get the provider to make a list that blocks everything. Could be as simple as creating a web site posting that there is an intention to stream a game. Just a list: "I hear that you can watch the upcoming Leafs game on IP a.b.c.d". Let NHL/ESPN/whoever scrape it. Start with providing nothing but "bad actors". Spring the trap by flooding with sites you desire to be blocked, you know, just before the next playoffs. This is pretty much the same strategy used to poison bittorrent feeds. More effective, though. In the case of bittorrent, only really popular torrents can be poisoned. In this case, there are a very limited number of targets that need to be attacked.

- fartcannon 4y agoSome kind of TV viewers union? What would work? Hoping that they forget to pay off politicians?
- anotheracctfo 4y agoSure, lets get some blue collar solidarity and all cancel our subscriptions. I'm sure that the cable companies will listen to our demands and not triple down on squeezing the last nickle out of the Boomers.
