Netflix Rumored to Acquire Roku
- tiernano 4y agoWait... wasnt Roku spun out from Netflix in the first place? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Roku https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Roku in the history section...
- prirun 4y agoThe article didn't mention this specifically, but one reason Netflix may want Roku is to get more info on which streaming services consumers may be switching to or watching most. And maybe they can even get some info on which programs are being watched. Not sure if that's possible with the streaming TV interface.
