It's a simple tutorial, in my post I mentioned that I worked 3 years on a sass app and 2 years on a desktop app, and if I did not mention it, it amounts to at least 5,000h of experience total with front-end (and some back-end, I admit my experience with Node.js back-ends is quite limited at this point) + I have some 3,000h working on WordPress plugins. One does not just forget prior knowledge and "learn properly from scratch". When I set out to fix my bad coding practices 2 years ago, which took me maybe 6 months, I was not starting from scratch but building upon previous knowledge. I also was not following any tutorial, but studying other codebases, doing some searches over HN, quick reading through some books and integrating it practically in a real project I was working on as I went through that.
