Toyota and Woven Planet have developed a portable hydrogen cartridge
- ggm 4y agoThe key point a few people miss here when this stuff is discussed, is that this is H for fuel-cell. Its probably a sintered metal or amalgam canister which is dry heated, cooled under vacuum and then filled. The H goes into the interstitial gaps. When its re-heated, it releases the H. It's not "fuel as gas for combustion" its fuel as input to H+0 == H20 plus electricity. (I am not an electrochemical/chemist person. I may mischaracterise) This article at least does say it: its fuel-cells. Its not fuel (gas, methanol-replacement for ICE)
