As most geeks here, got an Apple //c and learned basic from the manual. Tried to create a 3D vector game of a robot that explored a house, dreamed about someday building an AI assistant in my computer. Later on got an IBM PC and a copy of a page from some Polish magazine with the Pascal code of a simple virus, didn't understand the Polish text but the self replicating Pascal code was eye-opening.
