The IRS Is Coming for Your Venmo and PayPal Income
- mikece 4y agoPayPal has been generating 1099Ks for a while; in fact they froze me out of one of my business accounts 3 years ago without warning because they couldn't adequately file a 1099K on me. I offered to show them my accountant-prepared tax filings and any other info they needed so they could update their side accordingly but they told me they weren't going to un-freeze my account. I switched to Stripe, deleted my Venmo account, and haven't been abused by molested by PayPal since.
