It's interesting to keep seeing DF evolve over time. It wasn't that long ago that I remember DF was ascii-only, and starting a new game took several pages of explanation and setup. It seems like they've streamlined and improved a lot. I think there's still a ton of room to go moving foward, UI/UX design is really hard and the problem of keeping a system flexible and configurable while also easy to use is no simple task.
