It’s not a big thing for politicians to vote for the things so far in the future. They will be long gone and not responsible for anything. I just moved from rental apartment in Munich to my own house. I also ordered Kia EV6 and will ditch my petrol BMW as soon as it arrives. It’s convenience and my monthly rate for the car will be covered by not using batshit crazy expensive petrol of probably 2,3€ liter when current 3 month tax break will be over. I have now 11 kW charging infrastructure in my garage and it is super cool! However it’s a bad joke in Munich. Before moving out I found 8 chargers around rental apartment in a radius of half mile. Just a bad joke. And I don’t start about the electricity of generation. Solar is not working here for at least 3 months of a year. It’s shocking to see how the politicians are de-coupled from the reality.
