Running into people who disagree with you or think you are kind of dumb or call you names isn’t really the same as being silenced.
- throwawaylinux 4y agoBullying can be very silencing and disempowering actually. I see them as closely related actually -- censorship is bullying and bullying can be silencing, although the simple kind of bullying is usually driven by their more basic fear and embarrassment of their own inadequacies.
