I purchased pycharm, couldn't stand it, logged bugs that are still open from over 5 years ago coupled with the fact I didn't see any immediate benefits coming from vim and vscode. I would never deploy from an ide, and I'm willing to make a small investment when it comes to my tools and productivity. Also, as of lately, copilot is saving me an insane amount of time especially when it comes to boilerplate and testing.
