- Comevius 4y agoI like the optimism, but they have ways to go. Apple and TMSC never fails to deliver, but I can see Intel catching up and Qualcomm taking advantage of them now that Intel is a foundry. The future is bright for the semiconductor industry until we hit another fundamental limit. Transistor evolution appears to come in waves.
- lynguist 4y agoThey can say what they want. What is realistic is that Qualcomm is ahead of any Intel and AMD offerings by using Cortex-X2, they just have to go ahead and build that SoC. Cortex-X2 is currently 1 year ahead of Intel/AMD, however Apple is 3 years ahead of Cortex-X2.
