Are we talking about big tech companies or something? It never occurred to me that companies could even possibly need 5 rounds of interviews. My first job was two rounds, my current one was one.
- 121789 4y agoI think some people are counting each individual interview conversation as a "round". For example two screening calls then an onsite with four conversations would be six "rounds"
- behringer 4y agoto me 5 rounds means 5 separate days. 1 day of interviewing and another day of a second test, is not absurd, I'd still probably refuse though :D
- sage76 4y agoI interviewed for a small company, and I gave 8 rounds before being told no. Another small company I am interviewing for, had a screening, a take home, discussion of the take home, and now a 3 round onsite.
