But IMHO, SRE is just a Google way of naming regular SystemAdmin DevOps role. I see no difference. I did exactly the same tasks as an SRE and as a Senior DevOps. Could anyone with 20+ years of experience explain why exactly we still distinguish those ? SRE is supposed to be a superset of DevOps but how?
