Developer-wise, I'm kind of stoked that they'll be integrating their Dark Sky acquisition into an internal API (I know it'll frustrate non-Apple platform users). I was just working on an app earlier this year for fun where I really wanted an easy to access, low-volume usage weather API in the same vein as using MapKit for mapping. Now they've announced WeatherKit, which sounds like it'll fulfill my needs if ever get back to working on my project.
