Apple's 20% was for multi-core.
- skavi 4y agoThe M1 and M2 have the same number of cores. I suppose the fabric could have been improved for the M2.
- sgerenser 4y agoMulti core uplift will be a bit more than single core, because the “little” cores improved more than the big ones. 18% multi core uplift, but only 12-15% single core. Weak cores might have increased by 25% or so but they’re still much slower than the big cores so don’t affect “single core” performance.
