You're making a category error. The posts you're looking at are marketing speech, intended to generate hype. They are not intended to be informative. Also, C-suite-types may not have the slightest idea what approach the technical people are taking, or even whether it works. But they do know about things with dollar signs on them. They regard every penny investors are willing to spend as validation of ... important stuff. I agree that this is not useful information. But I'm a technical guy. I am not the target audience of that kind of information.
