People sometimes go off the deep end and start arguing with everyone on the internet about the target of their desire, and lose all sense of perspective. You see them taking on all comers in threads like these, and it’s a bit disturbing when you notice it’s just the same username over and over. Not saying it’s what you’re doing, but your comment reminded me of people like that.
