If you have seen posts on HN all the time, why was your account only created 30 minutes ago? Want to have a go at people but don't want to lose precious karma?
- cj 4y agoYou can only downvote comments, not submissions. So his account won't lose any karma, throwaway or not. They probably just wanted to say it anonymously. It's also the reason I took my contact info out of my profile. I've been personally attacked on here by people who don't agree with a viewpoint (and the attacks weren't refuting the viewpoint, just downright nasty) Edit: Actually nevermind, I guess at some point I put my email address back in my profile :)
