- schlupfknoten 4y agoSeems to affect Twitter as well. Every time I've checked out the Spaces tab in the app, the featured Spaces were 90% NFT / crypto promotion.
- Uehreka 4y agoYeah, but that’s just one part of its local maximum. If crypto didn’t exist, I feel confident the hustle porn, personal finance and entrepreneurship stuff (more “How I Make $1000/mo In Passive Income”-style content and less Startup School) would rush to fill the gap.
- drannex 4y agoAt the very least that would be marginally tenable to deal with and would have /some/ sort of variety to the conversation.
- lmm 4y agoOn the contrary, I suspect it wouldn't have enjoyed what success it had without being able to lean on some very monetary FOMO.
- fullshark 4y agoThe main people interested in talking to large groups of strangers are selling something, if not crypto boom it would be something else.
- can16358p 4y agoOr perhaps the crypto boom made it popular in a way which it would never be in the first place? Crypto at least gave it a chance.
