FriendlyJordies is a good take on modern journalism. He is entertaining and makes deep dry topics like (the specifics of) corruption palatable.

Ah, yes. The 'racism' of reporting on corruption. This is ridiculous, but more ridiculous that the man responsible for the reporting would have his editors illegally kidnapped by the terrorism police.

Great. Now we're gonna see Google take down even more stuff just because it might possibly end up involved in some court case that they get fined over.

  They are very prompt to respond to dmca request. Bullying request? No help. I'm glad that internet is not a no-law zone. I don't know the specifics of this case though. I assume the court has checked enough.

    You might want to check the specifics of this case - because it's thoroughly messed up. I don't think you'll think this is a good or just decision by the court once you look deeper. There's a long history to this feud/abuse of power.

To be fair, don't know the case, but having gone over the YouTube channel in question, all I can say is don't mix anti corruption with humor if you don't want to give the accused ammo.

  Leave it to Australia to insure the corrupt get paid for getting covered & their feelings hurt. This country has such a bloodthirsty legal system with regard to hurt feelings & the rights to privacy for ultra-wealthy world-burning imperialist fatcats. Personally the world is so bad & there's so many pieces of shit out there that I think humor is the only possible convcievable way to view things. The Daily Show certainly helped the world tune in to understand & grasp what was going on, to see it with enough slant & mirth & ridiculousness to be worth watching, & not just the saddest sorriest tragedy.
