Lex could just interview any Russian, or one of those 80% of Russians, who support war in Ukraine. It seems to be quite impossible to understand what is going on in their minds.
Jolly Heretic tried, but got only platitudes about saving suffering Russians from Fascists with this pre-emptive operation.
BTW. Lex talks also about "Suffering Russians" in this occasion. Which is much annoying and little scary.

The sad fact is, humans almost always side with their tribe, regardless of notions of right and wrong. The tribal logic of "us vs. them" is the only justification needed.
