I've got to say I'm really disappointed in this whole thread. All the focus was on the labor issues and theories regarding that. I was honestly hoping there would be something more here. Something about cool restaurants or creating amazing experiences on a budget or even about the difficulties and struggles of the people founding the restaurants. Instead we get a pile of reddit grade whining here. Cycle of abuse and all that. Although the article is great journalism.
