Solution to gun crime is improving gun-related convictions
- JoeAltmaier 4y agoNot sure heat-of-the-moment violence yields to rational decision-making. Also, throwing around the term 'gun crime' seems arguing-to-a-point. Is it 'car crime' when somebody hits a bicyclist? Maybe 'Toyota crime'?
- HarryHirsch 4y ago"Car crime" is creative! Like! Careless and reckless driving that gets weaker participants killed is car crime! Kids, protect yourselves from car crime - look to both sides of the road when you exit the school bus! The pedestrian who was run over by a driver turning right died of car crime. Let's fight car crime together!
- bediger4000 4y agoRubbish. Cars don't kill people, people kill people. The only thing that can stop a bad guy with a car is a good guy with a car.
- HarryHirsch 4y agoAnd that explains why you have so many cars on the road but no bicycles. It's not people that kill people, it's people with cars that kill people. Don't bring a bike to a car fight.

- LinuxBender 4y agoI saw a similar discussion on this from John Stewart [1] and found myself agreeing with his conclusion. It appears to be something actionable, might reduce harm, does not require legal changes and would only impact a subset of firearm owners.
