- gjvc 4y agoI care as much about OSX performance as much as JB have about Linux users over the past few years in this regard: not one iota. In the JetBrains Runtime section of https://blog.jetbrains.com/idea/2022/05/intellij-idea-2022-2-eap-1/ https://blog.jetbrains.com/idea/2022/05/intellij-idea-2022-2... they don't even mention Linux. I am grateful that this change has been made, but it has been miserable to use without it.
- gjvc 4y ago"A significant performance improvement allowing faster and smoother IDE operation." is the more relevant sentence, but they don't make a big deal about it, even though it's likely the single change with the greatest impact in this EAP release.
