How this fits in the RNA world hypothesis?
- gus_massa 4y agoIt's in favor of the RNA word hypothesis, because it gives a possible explanation of how the first RNA was formed. IIRC there are other proposed methods to produce RNA. IIUC this method assumes that there are many triphosphates floating around, that is possible but needs another explanation. So IMHO it's just a tiny step in the right direction, but not a "breakthrough" like some press articles claim.
