Looking at the examples, as far as I know many smaller companies get away with similar things as well, without getting charged. The problem is more that they are not big enough crimes to someone care enough. The customers and investors are pissed, but not enough pissed to go to court.
- connor11528 4y agoAgree that smaller companies also commit fraud. The smaller ones can always point to FB and say well they’re doing it why can’t we. If the government prosecuted FB (and not just fined them like they did for Cambridge Analytica) smaller companies would think twice before defrauding customers and partners.
