I am still on a i7-3770 & 16GB of ram on my desktop and until about a year ago I still though it was okay, but I have really been noticing it's limitations now

I am still on a i7-3770 & 16GB of ram on my desktop and until about a year ago I still though it was okay, but I have really been noticing it's limitations now with my M1 mac. Could possibly be do to meltdown/spectre patches in the kernel as well, looking forward to Zen 4!
