I’ve done all of this multiple times. It got better for a couple of months and then started again. The same senders. Real estate agents, coupons, houseware ads… I’ve even written “return to sender” and my post person wrote “you can’t just decline mail” and dropped it back in my mailbox.
I’m so sick of this.
- user3939382 4y agoWrong. “Domestic Mail Manual (DMM), Sect. 604.8.1.2 and Sect. 507.1.8.2 provide two instances where mail can be refused when it is offered for delivery, or, after delivery. - encryptluks2 4y agoI tried getting petty and submitting complaints to Postmaster General. Eventually they told me if I kept refusing mail, especially the Direct Mail that advertisers use (to Current Resident), they just wouldn't deliver my mail anymore.
