- hkt 4y agoYes! For allotments, the RHS and the NSALG are the places to go, they have information on growing, allotment etiquette, seasonal produce etc: https://www.nsalg.org.uk/ https://www.nsalg.org.uk/ https://www.rhs.org.uk/advice/beginners-guide/allotment-basics https://www.rhs.org.uk/advice/beginners-guide/allotment-basi... As for permaculture, I follow this magazine, which is worth every penny: https://permaculture.co.uk/ https://permaculture.co.uk/ And as for finding an allotment, there's a handy gov.uk service that will tell you which local authority to get in touch with: https://www.gov.uk/apply-allotment https://www.gov.uk/apply-allotment Most allotment sites have a waiting list, but there's always some turnover as people lose interest (or in some cases, die of old age!).
