I’ve noticed that on my iPad with a few different video services. Makes me wonder if there’s a buggy video-download API.
In any case, absolutely maddening when you’re trying to “fill up” your device on hotel WiFi before a flight.
- b-lee 4y agoDon’t think so. Almost every third party app does downloading right except Apple’s. It’s like they don’t even try to recover at all. You can’t resume updates - only on Apple related software. I remember spending 5 days trying to update to Mojave because the update kept failing.
